Andrew Macdonald

With 10 years of games industry experience, Andrew has worked on numerous titles and global IPs (SIE’s Days Gone, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed and Hasbro’s MONOPOLY Tycoon), at varying project sizes from indie darlings, mobile, and AAA PC & Console games.

Andrew prides himself on his programming abilities in multiple languages and has a wide breadth of experience and knowledge in many technical game development disciplines including: popular game engines (Unity, Unreal and Godot), rendering, physics, real-time networking, UI, gameplay systems, traditional AI, tools, optimization, version control, CI/CD pipelines, dev-ops and live-ops.

Andrew also takes great care in directing his teams and mentoring his more junior developers to unlock their full potential and eventually become leads and directors themselves.

Andrew graduated from George Brown College in Toronto in 2015 with an Ontario Advanced College Diploma with Honours in Game Programming.
